Location : North Carolina, Texas, (Remote)

The position is a unique opportunity to provide immediate value supporting the Carrier Reseller Business.

  • Become a compelling member of the Wholesale Sales Team through managing relationships with telecom carriers and service partners to achieve monthly sales and revenue goals.

What you will be doing

  • Support the Carrier Sales team members with base control, quoting and growing the reseller business.
  • Consulting with prospective clients and growing key relationships to better understand how internal and external tools can be utilized to increase sales and improve efficiency via these systems.
  • Learn / Understand Connect Base & Masterstream systems and utilize their product set to maximize the sales team’s efforts. Evolving into an oversight role with Key input matrix’s goals allowing for better management of our customer base.
  • Learn / understand Mapping tools (Google Earth / IQ Geo / etc) for determining On-net and Near-net Fiber network solutions.
  • Learn / Understand Salesforce and how to apply it to Wholesale utilizing as many applications as possible.
  • Improving client satisfaction by traveling to client sites to manage field sales activities.
  • Maintaining quality service and encouraging client retention through coordinated efforts with the Business Service Managers, and the Sales Engineering and Marketing teams.
  • What you will need

  • Experience in a customer facing role and selling into the Wholesale / Reseller and Carrier marketplace would be a plus.
  • This will include customer presentations both in person and on-line (Teams, zoom, etc).
  • Strong follow up skills with customers, highly organized with a keen eye to detail.
  • An understanding of Lit fiber services, such as DIA, Ethernet & Waves, Type II services and how they fit into our product set.
  • An entrepreneurial, coachable spirit with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Salesforce experience
  • Strong Excel Spreadsheet capability, requiring a demonstration of said skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% for customer site visits, trade shows and conferences.
