What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Interior Designer position at Context, LLC?
Looking for a junior designer for residential and commercial interiors. Hybrid of onsite and remote. Candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp and experienced with producing a full set of construction drawings. Professional experience producing construction drawings for residential projects - including custom millwork drawings and details. Prefer the right candidate to help with other aspects of the project as a procurement, ordering, creating and answering the phone and emails and communicating with the client. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with high-end furniture and finishes and help with selections and possess a good understanding of color, materials, and building codes. A good graphic design sensibility is also required. AutoCad, SketchUp and Photoshop required. Familiarity with an interior design project management software preferred.
Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design and should be able to commute to the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York. Both of these requirements are non-negotiable.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
