What We Are Looking For
An experienced and driven Parts and Inventory Manager to support our Fleet Operations and Equipment Division.
Responsibilities
- Order Parts and inventory for in house Conti team members and provide status updates on those orders.
- Keep track of inventory and supplies.
- Order parts and inventory for 3rd party mechanics as needed.
- Manage 3rd party vendors for parts and inventory.
- Process invoices and purchase orders for proper costing.
- Update Service Manager with parts order status daily.
- Track and maintain core’s and core credits
- Receive and dispatch all heavy construction equipment. Will require operating of the equipment to include load and unload.
- Inbound and Outbound inspections of equipment coming and going from the Dunn, NC yard and document condition following proper procedures.
- Perform light mechanical work on an as needed basis.
- Maintain idle equipment in yard. Start and run equipment as needed.
- Maintain and organize the shop, yard and inventory. Responsible to open in the morning and lock up at the end of each day.
- Hands on moving and loading equipment and materials in the yard.
- Assist Equipment Division as needed.
- Deliver parts and materials to mechanics or job sites as needed.
- Travel – as required (Under 5%)
- Minimum of 3 Years relevant experience
- Capabilities to operate a variety of heavy equipment for loading, unloading and mechanical repair purposes to include but not limited to wheel loaders, telehandlers, man lifts, bulldozers, excavators, etc.
- Ability to use discretion and make decisions
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service, teamwork and people skills.
- Self-directed, organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to execute.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to multi task and work in a fast paced challenging environment
- Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred . A combination of education and experience is acceptable
