Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Professional Services projects are across industry verticals like Publishing, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Technology, and Financial Services. The key expectations for projects are:
- Understand client problem statements, define learning objectives, and recommend training strategies to achieve learning outcomes.
- Conduct different types of needs assessment (audience/role analysis, task analysis, gap analysis, and content analysis) and identify gaps in performance and determine training needs.
- Document analysis results and recommendations in client-facing strategies, plans, and reports. Plan and create appropriate content outlines, course content, interactive exercises, assessments, and job aids to achieve learning outcomes.
- Implement ID frameworks like the ADDIE process and execute ID pedagogy, ID principles, and ID tools.
- Design and develop instructor-led training (ILT), online training (eLearning and video), blended training, or micro-learning as determined from the needs assessment and content analysis. Independently develop L1 and L2 training courses.
- Act as a key member of the team, along with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and others in determining the needs of the course, the overall instructional flow of a program, and the appropriate method of delivery. Interact with other project teams to ensure consistency of deliverables.
- Provide status reports and participate actively in client meetings.
- Achieve customer delight through experience, soft skills, and solution definition.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in Instructional Design and Courseware Development projects.
- Experience creating instructional content, storyboards, and engaging training content.
- Proficiency in courseware development tools like Articulate Studio, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other tools.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is mandatory.
- Basic digital image editing proficiency required.
- Experience working with global clients.
- Certification or degree in Instructional Systems Design, Education, Training/Curriculum Development, Technical Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Comprehension of increasingly complex products, processes, and projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to new ideas, changes, and feedback.
- Ability to conceptualize content visually by collaborating with graphic designers and technical team members.
- Exhibiting an exceptional eye for detail to create the final product within specified timelines.
- Demonstrated experience in committing to and meeting external customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and as an individual contributor or specialist.
- Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts to conduct research and resolve issues.
