What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Appointment Coordinator position at Continental Auto Group?
Job Purpose: Coordinate and schedule service appointment using multiple platforms (CDK and Xtime).
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming service calls for multiple service centers
- Coordinate and schedule service appointment using multiple platforms (CDK and Xtime)
- Verify if parts are needed for scheduled services
- Verify if a vehicle has open recalls, provide pertinent information to customers and scheduling accordingly
- Respond to voicemails left for the service departments
- Review online appointments for accuracy
- Conduct outbound calls for missed appointments and open recalls
- Coordinate the scheduling of accessory installation on newly sold vehicles
- Conduct after service follow up
- Update customer contact information
- Assist manager with special projects, as needed
- Duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GEG
Experience:
- 6 Months customer service experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
- Professional and courteous telephone demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in all circumstances, delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Use of standard office equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
