Title: Assistant Branch Manager 1 (ABM1)
Reports To: Branch Manager
Classification: Full-Time, Regular, Non-Exempt Exclusively
Normal Hours: Commonly an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday
General Description:
- Customer Service- in person, email and phone
- Complete retail transactions, cash handling
- Automotive battery testing and installation
- Warehouse back up/pull orders
- Train new employees and assist in evaluation of employee performance
- Production of reports, data entry
- Occasional fill-in driver for product delivery
- Function as proxy to the manager and all personnel in all branch duties
- Familiar with executing all job duties.
- Experience with branch procedures and policies is significant
- Excellence is demonstrated consistently and process improvements are contributed
Desired Qualifications:
Experience:
- Automotive and/or Industrial Battery knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude
- Retail management: 2 years
- Management: 2 years
- Warehouse: 1 year
- Supervisory: 2 years
Skills/Licenses & Certifications:
- Driver License - required
- Forklift - strongly desired
- Pallet Jack
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
