We are seeking a Relief Mechanic Operator to join our team at Continental Carbon Company. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment and quality specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with strong mechanical skills and aptitude. Twelve months of related experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
