Continental Properties is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team at our Home Office in Menomonee Falls, WI.
As the Employee Relations Specialist, you will serve as a key contributor to foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability. You will provide day to day employee relations support to team members and managers, ensuring compliance with company culture, policies, and applicable labor laws while promoting a positive team member experience. You will work closely with the HR Business Partners and HR Team to assist in resolving workplace issues, supporting organizational initiatives, and enhancing overall team member experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact for employee relation matters, providing guidance and support on workplace concerns, company policies, and procedures.

Assist in investigations into employee concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy violations.

Assist in the creation and management of performance improvement plans and corrective actions in alignment with company culture and policies.

Provide operational support the HR Business Partners, helping us identify trends in employee relation data to drive proactive solutions.

Collaborate on training and development initiatives to educate managers and team members on policies, conflict resolution, and best practices.

Maintain documentation and confidentiality related to employee relation matters.
Skills for Success:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2 plus years of employee relations or HR Generalist roles, ideally in real estate, property management or a related industry.

Solid understanding of employment laws, workplace investigations, and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate sensitive situations professionally.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
