Premier 55 Residential Community is seeking lawn crew members to join our team!

We are looking for year-round F/T (40 hours/week); Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Very affordable medical/dental/vision BENEFITS after 90 days, PTO time, 401K match and 1/2 off golf greens fees and other company paid benefits after one year of service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Operate large commercial lawn mowers, edgers, and hand tools associated with grounds maintenance and landscaping activities. PPE equipment provided for employees.

Mow residential lawns daily Monday through Friday during peak grass growing season based on mowing schedule; Working Saturdays if needed due to weather.

String trim areas and blow debris from driveways and streets daily based on mowing schedule;

Edge grass near streets and walkways bi-weekly based on seasonal schedule;

Perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools as required;

Assist other departments with lawn and ground maintenance as needed;

Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor;

Assist Park Maintenance Department during non-peak mowing season with various pressure washing, painting, and minor repairs;

ABILITIES and SKILLS

Daily operation of large mowers, lawn hand tools, power tools and backpack style equipment;

Capable of carrying small lawn equipment weighing 15 – 25 pounds on back for long periods of time; lift and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds;

Speak, listen, and comprehend objectives; Ability to deal with various situations;

Work with limited supervision to accomplish daily objectives with detail and accuracy;

Must have CURRENT lawn mowing experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred; at least 1 year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Knowledge: Operation, troubleshooting and repair of various minor groundskeeping equipment and tools helpful.
