JOB DESCRIPTION
The MPM will be responsible for coordination of all materials for Programs from development through shipment. This responsibility includes coordination with engineering for releases to manufacturing, coordination with supply chain management for purchase / tracking of all materials, including outsourced manufacturing, in-house manufacturing / production scheduling, inclusion of quality and test requirements, and the overall internal schedule to ensure on time delivery of programs. The ideal candidate should be able to identify when conflicts will arise and be able to discern when to resolve those conflicts and when to involve the Sr. Program Manager. The ideal candidate has experience creating a stable work environment and leading an IPT (Integrated Product Team) for success of delivery of projects / products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree with eight (8) years of applicable experience (An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered), which includes a minimum 5 years of professional experience in either Supply Chain, Program Management, or Operations Experience with Supply Chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, or finance
- Must be a US Citizen due to customer requirements
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite especially MS Project and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Procedures
- Ability to read a Bill of Materials or a Drawing Tree or other technical documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Six Sigma, Lean Management, or similar training
- Travel (including international) is less than 10%
