Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking an Operations Data Reporting Analyst to join our Operations team.
The Operations Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting daily communication strategies including outbound dialing, email and texting campaigns for both collections and customer journeys. Working with ongoing Recovery activities, in supporting our Vendor (Fiserv) System Analyst team and Operations by providing uninterrupted support for Database queries, review/creation of non-Mon files, data analysis and/or cleanup and in supporting all changes needed for ad hoc collection strategy changes. This individual should have a background in computer science or related field.
***CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)***
Essential Functions
- Manage SQL server databases through product life cycle environments, from development to QA and production.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes to ensure high performance and availability – as needed
- Develop, manage, and test back-up and recovery plans.
- Communicate regularly with operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
- Analyze query performance and perform query optimization.
- Manage database file structure and expand/shrink as needed.
- Monitor and optimize SQL server log files.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity by performing tasks like backups, recovery, performance tuning, security configuration, and capacity planning, etc.
- Experience in database management and maintenance.
- Proficiency with MS/SQL Server.
