CDL Truck Driver - Heavy Haul - Port Saint Lucie, FLThe primary responsibilities of this position are to safely and securely load, haul, and unload heavy construction equipment to and from specified destinations. Must have experience pulling a lowboy and oversized equipment. We haul multiple excavators, dozers, loaders, and many other types of construction equipment.Basic Qualifications :
- Valid and current Class A CDL
- Ability to operate both Automatic and Manual transmission trucks
- Must have 2 years of verifiable Tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Ensure safety and compliance of load
- Maintain DOT driver log (ELD) and other required transport documentation
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Pre / Post Inspections
- Pass DOT physical and DOT Road TestPreferred Experience :
- Operating trucks requiring a CDL Class A license (e.g., driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping and hooking, operating landing gear and / or air bags, or backing confined spaces, etc.)
- Hauling construction materials and / or equipment (e.g., transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments, etc.)
- Operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (e.g., highway driving, side / local roads, city / country, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)Benefits :
