What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Line Worker position at Continental Manufacturing?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Line Quality Control Technician to join our growing Quality team. In this role, you will monitor products on packaging lines to ensure they meet quality specifications, adhere to safety standards, and follow established cleaning protocols. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and have a keen eye for detail. This position will be on our 2nd Shift, which which runs from 4:15pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday (x4 10-hour shifts).
Key Responsibilities
- Product Quality Checks: Inspect products on packaging lines to confirm they meet all quality requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Identify and report any safety hazards or deficiencies; maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Adhere to cleaning task lists, ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with management and other departments, taking on additional responsibilities or projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO standards.
- Prior experience in quality control, particularly in a manufacturing setting, is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Comfortable working around chemicals and industrial machinery.
- Ability to work various shifts—including nights and weekends—as needed.
