Head of Production

Your tasks In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and control of plant production. Ensure that goods are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. Core Responsibilities. Manage and coordinate the production function at the plant Translate plant/operations production strategy into action plans and ensure it’s implementation Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning) Ensure the achievement of production targets according to internal and external customer expectations Initiate and control investments for production equipment (e.g. production machines, assembly equipment) Interface to segment, BU and or division functions in order to gather local production requirements and demands and other feedback Participate in and/or steer global or local production-related and cross-functional projects Conduct employee dialogues, personnel development, and coaching Support production performance (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. regarding cost, lead time, quality, scrap, waste, energy, OEE, etc.) in cooperation with manufacturing engineering and plant controlling Prepare, review, and manage the budget and forecast of production cost centers and ensure that the financial goals are met Ensure the fulfillment of the daily and monthly production plan and corrective actions with relevant departments Maintain compliance with requirements regarding ESH Responsible for shop floor training management (i.e. education and training of variable staff for production and logistics processes) WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY Immediate Benefits Paid Time Off Tuition & Employee Discounts Annual Bonus Employer 401(k) Match And more benefits that come with working for a global industry leader! Your profile Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field 7+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment including 2+ years of proven ability to lead and manage people. 14+ years of manufacturing experience including 2+ years of proven ability to lead and manage people in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Strong MS Office skills. Strong in Excel Ability to manage Budgets and Forecasting Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work across multiple departments and/or BU areas Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree No Visa Sponsorship or Relocation for this role Our offer All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

Salary : $64,000 - $120,000
