Job Summary
The Office Services Senior Technician is based in the Continental Print Center and is responsible for the operation of production printing and mailing equipment. This technician will also utilize printing-related software, operate wide-format printing equipment to produce large banners, and various other print-finishing equipment, and maintain related inventories.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate high-speed, high-quality Xerox production printers with inline finishing capabilities, fulfilling ad hoc requests from all departments as well as various daily, weekly, and monthly printing for Continental Resources. The variety of jobs would include revenue checks, JIBS, JMA, division orders, well proposals, Oklahoma Corporation Commission mailings, TMRC letters, business cards, manuals, reports, presentations, etc.
Utilize advanced production-printing software, including Xerox MakeReady and Adobe Creative Cloud products to produce quality work according to internal customer requests.
Operate various print-finishing equipment such as guillotine paper cutter, slit/cut/crease machine, high-speed scanner, trimmer, drills, spiral binding machines, folder, grommet maker, stapler/stitcher, and lamination equipment.
Operate production-level envelope inserters, HP professional-quality wide-format printers, high-speed envelope printers, and commercial postage equipment.
Provide direct backup support for the Lead Technician and assist in updating and maintaining all Print and Mail Center manuals and process documentation.
Monitor and maintain minimum levels of all supplies for the Print and Mail Center to allow for the timely completion of all requests. Assist in maintaining cost information related to supplies. Maintain daily/weekly/monthly statistics on all work completed in the Center.
Support the Continental corporate mail center, in tasks such as receiving and processing all incoming US mail and parcel shipments to each floor/department, posting outgoing mail, and preparing express courier (UPS, FedEx) labels for packages.
Monitor all printers in the Oklahoma City corporate office for status warnings, troubleshooting any issues to determine if there is a simple and quick fix to avoid downtime and service calls. If not, utilize more advanced troubleshooting and advanced settings to make adjustments and clear errors. When necessary, engage third-party technicians via phone support or as a last resort for service calls, to timely return the machine to full operational capacity.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous print center, mail center, and/or other closely related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Intermediate computer and general software skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Xerox job submission and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) software is a plus.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and push/pull carts and dollies with supplies.
Routine lifting, moving, and carrying of up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator and make fine manipulations and adjustments to equipment with hands and fingers.
