Responsibilities:
- Performs soldering of through hole components inserted in printed circuit board assemblies, sub assemblies and various light mechanical hardware
- Works with small tools, engineering documents and visual aids
- Identifies non-reworkable issues to the supervisor
- Routes non-conforming material to the Material Review board (MRB)
- Applies use of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions when handling products
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations
- Performs other duties as required or directed
- Operate hydraulic equipment used to place pins in boards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in an IPC Solderer position
- IPC Certification
- Ability to solder through hole components
- Ability to distinguish the difference between rework and repair
- Ability and willingness to be trained, learn and perform other duties as required
- Ability to read Engineering Bill of Material and other Engineering documents
