Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic plans, and managing projects that align with our company's goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking, maintaining a database of prospects.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction using our current customer service program to include monthly client contacts, client surveys, etc.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while meeting client needs. (working closely with the owners)
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning efforts.
- Prepare regular weekly reports on business development activities, progress towards goals, and market insights.
- Review periodicals to look for new business coming to the area and put information into our data base.
- Maintain the Teamtime Enforcement program, working with HR to improve compliance
- Publish the quarterly "Security Alert" newsletter
- Maintain the File Room assisting HR
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles.
- Proficiency in software applications.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Strong strategic planning abilities with an analytical mindset to assess market opportunities.
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading initiatives from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
