Continental Senior Communities is hiring a detail-oriented, driven, responsible accounting professional to join our finance team! The ideal candidate will possess a go-getter attitude, strong analytical skills and possess the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies, and effective written and verbal communication skills. We are also looking for someone with a background in reviewing and processing payroll. An associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Primary duties for this role will include
- The maintenance and oversight of the AP system used throughout the company.
- Receive and review invoices from vendors, verifying the accuracy of information like quantities, prices, and terms.
- Input invoice details into the accounting system, including vendor information, invoice amounts, and payment due dates.
- Contact vendors to clarify invoice details, address payment issues, and negotiate payment terms.
- Prepare and submit payment batches to the appropriate channels (ACH, checks, wire transfers).
- Regularly reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate accounts payable balances.
- Generate accounts payable reports for management, including aging reports and payment summaries.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding invoice approvals, payment deadlines, and tax regulations.
