Airport Shuttle Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to provide transportation services to and from San Deigo to LAX. The ideal candidate will be defensive driver, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of passengers to and from LAX. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict resolution skills and strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Duties

• Operate shuttle vehicles, including vans to transport passengers safely.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing exceptional customer service, Able to lift 50 lbs and stack luggage.
• Maintain cleanliness at end of every trip and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Report any issues to management.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other staff regarding schedules and passenger needs, safety issues.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport, report refills of water bottles and snacks.
• Must be Tech Savvy to scan passenger passes and operate and communicate via tablet, operate Wi-Fi router, Dash Cam.

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in various situations while ensuring passenger safety.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns to optimize travel time.
• Experience as a van driver or motor coach operator is a plus.
• This is not Limousine service.
• Experience in Paratransit, bus driving, limousine services, or school bus driving is preferred.
• Must have minimum of CDL "C" with "P" passenger Endorsement, with clean diving record, Employer will pull driving record (EPN via DMV).
• Punctuality is paramount at Continental Shuttle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
