NDT Inspector II
Purpose :
- Continental Tide has an immediate need for a NDT Inspector II who will be a key support to the Quality Assurance Department. The location of this position is in National City, CA.

Required Experience :
Qualifications :
High school Diploma or equivalent in Vocational and US military schools.
Must have an ASNT NDT Certification with a nondestructive testing background.
Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience as an NDT QA Inspector.
Certifications : PLC, WAF, VT II and PT II
Prior experience in performing Quality Assurance support tasks associated with mechanical and structural / piping / electrical repair and upgrades and installation of electronic systems on US Navy Ships.
Previous hands-on experience with shipboard electrical / structural installation including Cable, Connectors, power Modifications, and structural modification. Must be able to read and understand Ship Installation Drawings.
Experience with JFMM, 9090-310, NAVSEA Standard Items, NAVSSES 4790.2 Series Installation documentation, WAF / TUMS.
Understanding of shipboard / shipyard environment is a must.
Five (5) years of experience with US NAVY ships Structural, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment including shipboard electric, power generation and transmission equipment.
Experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), cableway, fiber optics, integrated network systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a mandatory requirement.
Must have experience in evaluation of subcontractors and vendors assessing they meet quality assurance requirements.
Capable of writing and interpreting procedures and standards.
