Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Ensure the necessary tooling is ordered and built to meet program timing
- Create tools and measures to reduce the complexity in the plant to improve the process costs according to plant objectives.
- Generate and maintain procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controls for rubber injection molds.
- Maintain a close and positive working relationship with corporate areas and plant staff to attain goals and objectives
- Responsible for all mold tools in the plant from the start-up of serial production, through the end of life taking into consideration customer requirements
- Responsible for integrating new activities between R&D and the plant for the industrialization of new products, pertaining to the mold tooling design
- Initiate necessary activities to achieve material standardization / consolidation (Complexity reduction ) and product improvement objectives
- Assists in the optimizing of existing molded rubber products in serial production in terms of mold damage and repair
- Monitors the status of the QC actions initiated by the Product Review group and within the industrialization phase
- Assist in the development and adaptations required out of internal or external customer complaints
- Assist in the optimization of mold tooling maintenance, release and monitoring systems and procedures
- Leading and developing a highly qualified technical staff by providing technical and personal guidance.
