What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLT Calender Crew Member (CCM)- Illinois position at Continental?
Job Description
- Monitor calender banks, adjust strip widths, and checks nylon or wire let offs
- Occasionally hand spread strips of rubber on the front of calender bank
- Visually inspect product to ensure specs are met and quality
- Cutting rubber at mills and calender during changeovers
- Complete paperwork for crew sheets and performance reports
- Occasionally lift / carry up to 100 lbs; Frequently climb ladders, reach, and twist with occasional bending, squatting, and climbing of stairs.
