Sales Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel within the assigned region to service two accounts per day.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages in assigned stores.
• Build and maintain in-store displays according to schematics and marketing plans.
• Maintain store standards by organizing back stock and ensuring shelves and cold boxes are filled appropriately.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from storage to the sales floor.
• Assist sales teams with resets and execution of marketing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store personnel and sales representatives.
• Ensure stores are properly scanned, data is entered accurately, and movement reports are compiled.
• Submit daily activity and merchandising reports, reporting competitive activity and pricing as necessary.
• Accurately clock in and out while adhering to state labor laws.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Clean DMV record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and repeatedly.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl daily.
• Minimum age of 21 (as required by state law).
• Ability to use a personal vehicle to travel between store locations.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous grocery or retail merchandising experience.
• General knowledge of wine and spirits products.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
