Under general supervision assists senior staff with the preparation and testing of a variety of complex cardiac diagnostic procedures. Prepares and operates specialized cardiac monitoring equipment. Provides health screening, patient motivation, cardiac rehabilitation sessions, therapeutic treatment, and education for patients. Under the immediate direction of the manager and medical director, and with minimal daily supervision, responsible for planning, coordinating, instructing and monitoring the clinical weight management program services to small groups and individuals. Participates in the development and implementation of individual weight loss plans, and record keeping processes.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science or the Biomedical field.
- Four to six (4-6) months' experience preferred in a cardiac or similar clinical setting.
- Mandatory Competency exam completion and pass.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Current BLS-C required and Advanced Cardiac life Support Certification (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire.
- ACSM Certification as Clinical Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) preferred.
