Continuous Composites, headquartered in downtown Coeur dAlene, Idaho, is the industry leader of Continuous Fiber 3D Printing (CF3D). We are developing a novel manufacturing method for carbon fiber composite components, primarily for aerospace customers
Your Role on the Team :
Were looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Controls Engineer who is excited to bring improvements to CF3D to market. Our ideal candidate has experience designing, integrating and testing complex control systems, working with the hardware, software, and test teams. He / she will be comfortable understanding new concepts, programming and testing controls, and communicating results to the broader team. If you are a strong engineer who loves the rewarding challenge of developing new and cutting-edge systems, we want to hear from you.
Opportunities :
- Develop controls that work with complex toolpathing algorithms on 6- and 7-axis motion platforms
- Develop controls for multi-axis fiber placement heads
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, materials, software, test) to execute multi-year product development plans
