CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE OPPORTUNITY
RISE Financial Strategies Group is seeking a Client Service Associate who is motivated, personable, and detail oriented to join our team located in our Clemson, SC office. This essential role helps to provide critical administrative support to Financial Advisors and their clients. We care deeply about both our clients and fellow team members, treating them as though they are family, and are looking for the qualified person who has this same level of passion to serve and care for others.

Service a high volume of daily interactions via both telephone and in-office client meetings, ranging from basic account service needs to researching solutions for more complex client inquiries. Ability to multi-task is essential.
Open new client accounts and ensure client paperwork is accurate prior to processing.
With organization and accuracy, processes client financial transactions for high net worth individuals.
Work directly with clients to prepare and process forms to update existing accounts.
Assist with technology maintenance by serving as liaison with the firm’s technology partners for necessary phone, computer, and website updates.
Work both independently and within a dynamic team environment to provide crucial support to the financial advisors and fellow team members.
Actively engage in cross-training to learn other roles within the team for the dual purpose of serving as backup to fellow team members as well as for your own professional development.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Expanded responsibilities are available in addition to the above based on industry experience and/or securities licensure status.
Required Qualifications:
2 years of client service through demonstrated work experience
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
College Degree or equivalent, preferred
Brokerage client support or financial services industry experience, preferred
Successfully completed the Series 66 & Series 7 examinations (or equivalent) to qualify for FINRA Registration OR the desire to complete examinations within 2 years of hire date.
Ability To:
Operate standard PC and related software including Word, Excel, and Client Relationship Management Software.
Analyze and research account information.
Identify time sensitive items and assess competing priorities.
Take initiative and proactively follow up on submitted items to ensure completion; resolve errors, questions or concerns.
Handle stressful situations to provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
Use mathematics sufficient to process account and transaction information.
Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to others with varying organizational levels.
