Position Summary:
Continuum Care Services has immediate openings for Licensed
Behavioral Health Therapists to join our Intake Teams. Key “perks” that

(collectively referred to as “Intake”, “Intake Team”, or “Intake Specialist”)
specifically focuses on the “intake, screening, and assessment” phases of
service delivery. This professional must demonstrate competency in
utilizing professional practice and clinical judgment in recommending the
appropriate type and level of care for the individual referred. Screening and
assessment skills guide recommendations for both prevention and treatment;
inclusive of whole-person needs – behavioral health, physical health, and
social determinants of health. As a licensed behavioral health therapist,
competency in evidence-based clinical practices (e.g. motivational
interviewing), clinical assessment and observation, crisis prevention and
planning, documentation, treatment planning, and referral are essential
components in gathering the data necessary to support access to care and
treatment -- and success in this role.
NC Licensure Requirements: Must have and
maintain a current, valid North Carolina professional practice license
(LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS) that can be verified by the respective North
Carolina professional practice Board.
Position Status (Availability):
Full-time, Part-time, or per diem (as needed)
Work Hours: Open, flexible scheduling;
General Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm; Community-based service hours
may extend until 8:00pm seasonally (i.e. during spring and summer months) when
daylight hours are longer; weekend availability for candidates who prefer
weekends
Compensation Structure: Incentive pay for
“Intake” (includes associated intake paperwork, screenings, and
comprehensive clinical assessment) completed** within 24-hours of the
scheduled appointment:
- $50
per “intake” for Provisionally Licensed
- $55
per "intake” for Fully Licensed
- $5.00
per “intake” additional incentive for community-based Intake Team service
**Documents are signed in the EHR with all appropriate
and required sections filled in.
Required Education: Master's Level
Experience:
- Must
be proficient in conducting clinical assessments and developing treatment
plans, independently or as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Must
demonstrate competency in maintaining new referrals, completing intake
paperwork, and ensuring individuals’ access to care
and referral/linkage to appropriate services
- Outpatient
Clinician: 2 years (Preferred)
- Clinical
Counseling: 2 years (Preferred)
Occupational Certification/Licenses: Valid,
current North Carolina Driver's License
