We are seeking a Board Certified|Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a busy, established located in Michigan City, Indiana. Interested candidate will be joining a large group that combines primary and specialty physician offices.
WHAT WE NEED
Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience; EUS preferred but not required, a strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Traditional schedule : Four Day work
oM F, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.; 36 hours of patient contact
oDaily Schedule : day in clinic, day in surgery
Call expectation of 1 : 4
oOne full week call coverage with no office commitment while on call
Office support staff of four RNs and two MAs
Single Hospital Coverage
oClose proximity from office and surgery center
Fully equipped surgery center adjacent to office
Average patient volumes
oApprox. 10 12 in office| half day
oApprox. 7 9 procedures in surgery center on half day
