Description :
Continuum of Colorado has two openings to be our next Residential Supervisor . As our Residential Supervisor, you'll get to oversee the day-to-day operations of a group of our residential sites (located in Aurora and Denver, as well as one in Castle Rock) by directing your team's duties; scheduling staff to meet departmental needs; and assuring quality care is provided. Each role is slightly unique, so we'd be happy to chat about the difference between them!
The residents of these sites have been diagnosed with an intellectual and / or developmental disability and receive support from us in their residential setting, so loving working with people is an absolute must for this position! Requirements
- Two (2) years supervisory or management experience, preferably in developmental disabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate at all levels with managers, subordinates, individuals in services and others
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Work flexible hours, as needed
- Ability to split time evenly between the sites
- Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule
- Meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to push and secure wheelchairs and assist in transfers
- Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Meet our driving requirements - no suspensions / revocations and no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years
