About the Role:
As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in welcoming clients into our program and ensuring they feel supported from the very first step. You will be responsible for guiding clients and families through the admissions process, building and maintaining partnerships with referral sources, and supporting our administrative operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Admissions Coordination
- Oversee the admissions process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
- Guide clients and their families with empathy and professionalism throughout their admissions journey.
- Conduct thorough screenings to assess treatment needs and ensure alignment with our services.
Partnerships and Business Development
- Collaborate with external partners and referral sources to strengthen and expand relationships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the center’s impact through strategic partnerships.
- Serve as a key point of contact for referral sources, ensuring a seamless and efficient referral process.
Administrative Support
- Manage scheduling, meetings, and office communications.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Continuously seek ways to improve workflows and optimize administrative processes.
Expected Outcomes:
Within 15 Days:
- Understand the admissions process, documentation requirements, and EHR system.
- Build rapport with the clinical team and external partners.
- Take ownership of administrative workflows, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Within 30 Days:
- Confidently manage the admissions process with accuracy and empathy.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and external partners.
- Identify areas for growth in partnerships and operational efficiency.
Within 45 Days:
- Demonstrate autonomy in overseeing admissions, achieving measurable outcomes for client onboarding.
- Proactively nurture strategic partnerships to drive results and office growth.
- Continuously enhance office efficiency, identifying and implementing workflow improvements.
Need to Have:
- Role Experience: At least 2 years of experience in admissions, administration, or a similar role.
- Location: Must reside in the Denver-metro area and be able to commute to our office.
- Industry Experience: At least 2 years in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving results and driving growth in a dynamic office environment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings.
- Familiarity with Denver-metro area resources and referral networks.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and office technology.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
- Lived experience with recovery (minimum of 1 year of abstinence).
Schedule:
- Schedule:9am-6pm Monday-Thursday; 9am-1pm Friday
- Work Environment: In office with earned remote days pending performance.
Compensation:
- Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience. Performance bonus options available.
