Key Responsibilities
This role involves utilizing evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions, providing rehabilitative and skilled therapy services, and assessing patient progress. You will work closely with supervising Occupational Therapists to adjust treatments accordingly.
Some key duties include:
- Providing Skilled Therapy Services: Offering rehabilitation services to patients who require them
- Assessing Patient Progress: Documenting patient progress and communicating with supervisors to adjust treatments
- Consultation and Counseling: Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders
- Discharge Summary: Contributing to discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
