Landscape Pesticide Technician
Location: Farmington Hills, MI
Position Summary: The Landscape Pesticide Technician is responsible for maintaining weed free landscaped beds, and hard surface areas.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- landscaped beds are weed free and clear of any debris, to include weeding and pruning as needed. Weeding will include hand weeding and utilizing spray application safely.
- Equipment care and general maintenance
- Maintain certification for commercial pesticide ( assistance is provided)
- Drive a designated route
- Daily communication with management as it relates to the job site schedule
- Conduct work in a safe manner in compliance with EPA
- Maintain a safe work area for our Landscape Crews, our clients, the public and the environment

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Daily communication with management as it relates to the job site schedule
- Conduct work in a safe manner in compliance with MDARD (Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development)
- Certified Pesticide Applicator is required (willing to train)
- Commercial lawn maintenance and landscape field experience including but not limited to; spreading fertilizer using commercial equipment
- Using backpack spraying equipment a plus
- Willing to take on additional duties and/or miscellaneous tasks, as needed

Physical Demand Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Lawn Detail Technician.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, bend, stretch, pull or push and lift items.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
