Job Title: Designer Draftsman: Energy Division

Hybrid, Louisville, KY
SUMMARY
Prepares plant and field detailed drawing packages necessary to perform all phases of fabrication and construction, including mechanical, piping, electrical, controls, foundations, components and accessories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Work with Engineering Manager to establish project requirements.
· Prepares support documentation such as shipping lists and material summaries.
· Assists Sales department by preparing bid sketches and quantity summaries.
· Assists shop manager as needed for assembly support during fabrication.
· Keep standard background drawings current.

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Drafting, or displayed experience that is equivalent. Must have AutoCad and Inventor Experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, project plans, project specifications and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers (defined above).
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
