We are seeking talented and ambitious Manufacturing Engineers to join us on this exciting journey and grow together.Job Responsibilities : Manufacturing and Process DevelopmentManufacture electromechanical systems from prototype to commercial productCollaborate with the hardware team to incorporate design for manufacturing / assemblyPerform root cause analysis in response to failures in the field. Design corrective actions and solutions to reduce defects.Write documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, inspection requirements, etc.Lead the Manufacturing Facility DevelopmentOrganize a scalable production environment with state-of-the-art equipmentIdentify tooling and hardware requirements, design and implement them into production processesTrain and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures.Supply Chain and Inventory ManagementDrive the outsourcing of subassemblies to external vendors while ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate successful supplier negotiations, optimize procurement strategies, and secure favorable terms.Implement tools and processes to enhance inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and supporting production efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory requirements, improve material flow, and ensure alignment with production schedules.Evaluate supplier performance regularly to identify risks and opportunities for improvementQualification / Requirements : Required : Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.2 years of manufacturing experience in either a professional work environment or a project / research-based student experienceFamiliar with Mechanical CAD Assembly Tools (SOLIDWORKS Preferred)Knowledge of design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) principles.Experience with electromechanical assembliesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Willingness to work hands-on to build robot prototypes and early production robotsPreferred : Experience with robotics or industrial robotic automation systems.Familiarity with electrical schematics and wiring diagramsProject management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.Knowledge of inventory management, vendor negotiation, and procurement is a plusWhat We Offer : Competitive salary and equity options.Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, and 401(k) plans.A vibrant and dynamic work environment where your contributions directly impact the company's success.Opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced startup setting.Health & Wellness Reimbursement ProgramContinued Education ProgramPet friendlyflexible work hours
