Summary of Essential Duties
- Design and implement tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
- Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Design and implement cycle counting process
- Organize rebalancing of inventory at bases, as required
- Design and Implement Tooling and Calibration program
- Maintain shelf-life program ensuring total compliance
- Recruit and train new employees
- Other tasks as assigned by management
- Be at least 23 years of age or older.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years of prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Prior experience in an aviation discipline is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management is preferred.
- Prior experience with inventory role is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
- Able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekend, and holidays. The Manager of Materials and Tooling will be required to work the nightshifts from 4:00PM CST to 12:30AM CST.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft office suite.
- Detailed working knowledge of Component Controls Quantum software.
- Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
- Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
- Must possess a valued states driver's license and must have a good driving record.
- Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must have well-developed people skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.
- Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with confidential materials and information.
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
- Must be a visionary with ability to clearly see the need for change, and then revise processes or procedures and ultimately implement revisions as needed.

- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
