Contours Landscape Solution is seeking a qualified Pest Control Technician for commercial lawn care in lawn and ornamental. This position reports to the company Certified Pest Control Operator and/or Operations Manager and applies routine contracted lawn and ornamental applications to our portfolio of properties.

Contours Landscape Solution is seeking a qualified Pest Control Technician for commercial lawn care in lawn and ornamental. This position reports to the company Certified Pest Control Operator and/or Operations Manager and applies routine contracted lawn and ornamental applications to our portfolio of properties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must have Best Management Commercial Applicators Certificate in Lawn and Ornamental and Limited Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certificate. Additional endorsements a plus.
- Ability to mix & apply fertilizers and pesticides to turf, trees or shrubs according to regulation and plant material specification. Including application methods, timing, spray patterns, etc.
- Possess strong knowledge of plant zone grasses, plants/trees weeds, pests and disease, fertilizers and chemicals
- Monitor landscape plant health and care during routine services and adjust needs based on IPM practices.
- Ensure FDACS rules & regulations are followed, and maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
- Maintain company trucks & spray equipment including inspection, minor/field repairs, mixing, calibration, etc.
- Must have experience using basic spray equipment required. Specific experience operating a spray truck and/or Z-Spray sprayers/spreaders a plus.
- Must have excellent communications skills.
- Must have a minimum 2-3 year experience with chemical or spray applications
- Must be able to work independently, efficiently and effectively.
