What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Preschool Teacher position at Contra Costa County Community Services Bureau?
We’re hiring Associate Teachers to join Contra Costa County Head Start in Bay Point, Brentwood, Concord, Oakley and Richmond!
Every day, our Associate Teachers create welcoming, active classrooms for children ages 0-3 to explore, develop, and build relationships. You’ll plan and lead activities that support their growth. Our teachers are a close-knit team with strong connections to the diverse families they serve. Our littlest learners need teachers ready to help them thrive. Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field OR high school diploma/G.E.D. or a high school proficiency certificate and 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Child Development (CD) including core courses.
- Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
- Valid Driver’s License.
