For more information about the County Office's programs and services, we invite you to visit our website at www.cccoe.k12.ca.us Requirements / QualificationsComments and Other InformationUnder direction, performs a variety of specialized duties to identify and connect students to career and academic opportunities and internships through career guidance, vocational assessment, academic counseling, training, education and placement services; provides information to students and County staff; provides assistance for a wide variety of assignments related to the development and implementation of youth services; and performs related duties as assigned. The Youth Services (YS) Department provides a broad range of coordinated services for youth who are in foster care, justice involved, experiencing housing instability, or experiencing barriers and need support to finish school, find a job or pursue a career path. Our programs are designed to prepare students to become self-confident, self-sufficient and independent adults. The successful candidate for this position will be serving justice involved youth countywide. Location for this position is a combination of the CCCOE office, district schools, and other locations to ensure quality of service and effectively meet program goals. Please note that Youth Services positions are grant-funded, and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of ongoing funding.
