For more information about the County Office's programs and services, we invite you to visit our website at www.cccoe.k12.ca.us Applicants must possess or qualify for: • Valid California Special Education DHH Teaching Credential • OR eligibility to be granted a Special Education DHH credential or permit authorizing Special Education services and teaching in the specific disability area of the service provided. • Bachelor’s degree. • Master’s degree in special education (preferred). • Two years of experience as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher (preferred). • Training and/or experience working in an educational setting (preferred). They provide one-to-one support to students, consult with teachers, staff and parents, assist with FM systems, conduct assessments and attend IEPs.
