Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Analyst II is pivotal in enhancing the security posture of the organization through advanced threat hunting, incident response, secure SDLC practices, policy review, and comprehensive threat analysis. This role involves ensuring the security of the organization’s information systems and data while maintaining compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess significant technical experience in cybersecurity, profound knowledge of security controls, and a commitment to continually expanding their skill set.
Duties & Responsibilities

Implement and manage advanced security measures to protect the company's information systems and data.

Conduct regular secure SDLC reviews to ensure applications are developed following security best practices.

Perform detailed threat analysis and proactive threat hunting to identify potential security risks.

Review and update security and compliance policies regularly to reflect the evolving security landscape.

Collaborate with other teams to identify, document, and remediate security risks.

Monitor, respond to, and document security incidents, ensuring timely incident resolution.

Maintain compliance with SOC1 and SOC2 standards and other relevant regulations.

Project manage SOC1 and SOC2 testing windows with external auditors.

Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.

Take part in business continuity initiatives and exercises including tabletop exercises, failover testing.

Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies and apply that knowledge to improve security measures.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; equivalent experience with a CISSP certification accepted.

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on secure SDLC, policy review, threat analysis, hunting, and incident response.

Experience with SOC1 and SOC2 compliance and auditing.

Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software.

Familiarity with network and system administration.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
