POSITION SUMMARY
The Dealer Sales Representative is an integral position to the company’s sales force. This job requires the creation and maintenance of good relationships with customers such as dealers and company stores. This job also requires teamwork, punctuality, attendance and reliability due to the position’s key participation with other company team members and most importantly, our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Making calls on authorized dealers and wholesale channels
- Maintaining a relationship with employees at the dealerships and channel partners
- Display product knowledge
- Promoting add-on sales
- Providing “No-equal” service and support to customers
- Serve as the primary contact for new transactions for dealers and channel partners
- Provide real-time resolution on inquiries from new and existing customers
- Resolve dealer and channel partner issues
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS (Education, experience, certifications, proficiencies, etc.)
- College degree preferred with an emphasis in business or marketing
- Past job-related experience in the trailer industry
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES (specialized knowledge, computer skills)
- Appreciation of the Customer
- Strong work ethic
- A team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform the duties of this job, an individual must be able to read, write understand and communicate by telephone using the English Language.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time (3-4 hours at a time). The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing, feeling objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required to this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to enter information into a computer.
