Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on providing daily commercial insights, supporting sales operations, and conducting product-level financial analysis to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, and a passion for delivering actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Product-Level Financial Analysis & reporting
• Conduct detailed financial analysis at the product level, including cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Monitor product performance against financial targets and propose corrective actions as needed.
• Support new product launches by providing financial modeling and scenario planning.
Commercial Insights
• Analyze daily sales performance and market trends to provide actionable commercial insights.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track key metrics, including revenue, market share, and customer behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
Sales Operations Support
• Optimize sales processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Partner with the sales team to manage pipeline performance and forecasting accuracy.
• Coordinate and execute sales planning activities, including quota setting and territory design.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in CRM and other sales systems.
Strategic Planning
• Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform business strategy.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with finance, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on business goals and financial objectives.
• Participate in regular business review meetings, offering insights on product performance and profitability.
Market & Competitive Analysis
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to understand external factors impacting product performance and profitability.
• Identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, commercial strategy or a related role.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
