Position Summary:
The Junior (JR) HVAC maintenance technician has the primary responsibility of maintaining the HVAC systems at CPC's facilities.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment including filters, belts, pullies, lubrications etc.
- Monitor and inspect heating and cooling systems at multiple company-maintained facilities to ensure continued proper operation.
- Order, pickup and delivery of parts required for HVAC systems using company provided van.
- Operate personally owed vehicle to transport individual, along with all the individual “hand tools” as deemed by HVAC manager, to all company buildings, in accordance with the necessary diagnosis and repairs.
- Investigate heating and air conditioning complaints; assists with repairs and installations of HVAC units and ductwork.
- Clean and change filters on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Demonstrate proper safety practices and procedures while installing, designing, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC systems.
- Ensure the usage of the Proper Protective Equipment and bring to Managers attention any deficiency.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management
Education and Experience:
- High School or GED degree required.
- HVAC technical school training
- Environmental Protection Agency, EPA Section 608 certification
- Type I, II, III Certifications
Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of heating and cooling systems
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to organize and schedule work responsibilities independently.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of hand tools
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
- While performed the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk, use hand to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- May be required to lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, climb stairs and step ladder.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to focus.
Work Environment:
- Work in outdoor weather conditions all year round.
- Work/Travel schedule must be adhered to and/or changed as needed to meet business requirements.
- Regular, ongoing travel throughout geographic areas on a continual basis as normal scope of role.

Personal Protective Equipment or Attire Required for Position:
- Gowning as required by GMPs and/or SOPs.
- Additional PPE, including gloves, proper foot-ware, mask’s, safety glasses and hard hats may be required.
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Salary : $18 - $22
