Engineering Excellence Manager

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a Engineering Excellence Manager to lead the development and implementation of engineering processes, design standards, and best practices across the organization. This role is located in Troy, MI and involves close collaboration with engineering teams and coordination with global business units. The Manager will also mentor staff, maintain performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Functions :

• Lead the refinement and implementation of engineering processes and best practices.
• Develop and deliver training for engineering staff to ensure knowledge retention.
• Coordinate with international teams to ensure consistency in processes and standards.
• Maintain the engineering SharePoint site for effective content distribution.
• Define and track engineering performance KPIs.
• Prepare technical presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Communicate progress, results, and recovery plans to senior management.
• Mentor engineers and foster professional growth within the team.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
