What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Tech I position at Contract Professionals, Inc.?
Troubleshoots minor technical issues. Documents the problem, develops procedures, and communicates recommended corrective action to the customer. May assist in planning, estimating, and scheduling required personnel and equipment for assigned field service projects. Assists in analyzing system deficiencies and provides input to recommended design changes to engineering. Assembles, installs, tests, maintains, and repairs products and ensures products are in compliance with customer requirements. Assists in resolving sensitive field service issues such as scheduling conflicts and funding concerns with customers. Assists in pre-overhaul inspections and the preparation of discrepancy reports. Serves as point of contact with customers, suppliers, and division management regarding schedules, technical issues, and administrative matters. Maintains configuration control databases and is responsible for logistical functions for assigned field service projects.
