Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in both German and English (required).
- 10 years of experience in international sales, ideally within defense, technology, or agriculture sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement structures in military and public sectors, particularly within Europe and international markets.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the US Army TACOM and Ground Vehicle System Center.
- Detailed knowledge in Industrial Engineering and related Standards/ Processes.
- Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense requirements, processes and procedures for vehicle development and procurement.
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally frequently up to 75%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or MBA.
- Background in defense or agriculture industries.
- Additional language skills such as Spanish, Portuguese, or a Slavic language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for European and international markets across defense, security, and agriculture sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients, including ministries of defense, armed forces, and agricultural manufacturers.
- Lead business development initiatives from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and address challenges proactively.
- Monitor KPIs and analyze sales data to uncover growth opportunities and optimize performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and forecasts for stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Represent the company at industry fairs and conferences, leading the organization of sales events.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to achieve sales targets efficiently.
- Present technical solutions and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Support the creation of compelling sales campaigns and customer proposals.
- Foster a collaborative environment with overseas colleagues to maximize organizational success.
