Job Summary :
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Sterling Heights, MI. This role is critical to the engineering team, focusing on requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, and architecture development using SysML modeling. This position supports the Next Generation Combat Vehicle / Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (NGCV / OMFV) program.
Essential Functions :
- Analyze and review customer requirements for compliance and develop system operational concepts.
- Allocate and decompose requirements to subsystems and components, ensuring successful integration.
- Perform SysML modeling, including behavior, structure, and parametric modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project objectives.
- Develop and maintain specifications at the product and subsystem levels.
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in creating critical item specifications.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Systems Engineering manager.
