Electrical/Electronic Technician
Minneapolis, MN
Seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Lab. This position will support the fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and support equipment, including assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair.
- Proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools, and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, and test with near zero defects.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of J-STD-001 requirements.
- Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (e.g., scopes, meters) and generate test report data.
- Able to work as part of a group or team.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
- Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication, and test improvements.
- Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience.
- Troubleshooting of electronic and electrical systems.
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
