Job Description
The Director of Performance Training is responsible for the development and implementation of quality assurance and control programs. This includes policies, objectives, plans, procedures, audits, and appraisals subject to executive approval. The successful candidate will supervise managers and/or supervisors in the Quality Assurance Department and report to the Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control programs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate quality performance
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality-related projects
- Communicate quality performance results to management and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in quality management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant science required
- Ten years of professional experience in quality assurance required
- Five years of management experience required
- Experience implementing quality programs in accordance with AS9100 and ISO9001 is required
- Must have experience with electronics and IPC standards
- Experience with RF/Microwave products is preferred
