Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of various testing methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in an Agile environment.
Duties
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application features and requirements.
- Utilize SQL and PL/SQL for database testing and validation.
- Document test results, report bugs, and track issues using GitHub or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues within the software.
- Assist in the development of automated tests using tools such as Visual Studio or Python.
Experience
- Proven experience in software testing with a solid understanding of QA/QC processes.
- Familiarity with .NET framework is preferred.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Knowledge of business analysis principles to better understand user requirements.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable.
